Hey son… master your high.

We’ve got a bunch of shows coming up in November. And while there is no small shows, one of them is gonna be a big one. So keep an eye out. If you need a music fix before then, check out some of our favorite albums. Just remember, “master your high”.

Sleep is for the weak

We’re playing tomorrow night. We were given the honor of headlining the show. That has us playing at 12:30am. Now, some bands might say “damn, 12:30 on a Monday, that’s rough” but not us. We say “where the drunk milfs at?” We’re gonna show up, bust open some bottles of white wine, and get loud. If you’re interested in changing the ratio of guys in black t-shirts to soccer moms come on out. Bands start at 5pm. Hellcat Cafe 306 72nd St Houston, Texas 77011.

The good, the bad, the fugly

Going to shows isn’t for everyone. Shit can get crazy. You might see and be forced to interact with weird and gnarly people. So if you’re gonna lock yourself in you house like you’re joining a cult, he’s some music. They’re some of our favorites and suitable for all your hremit needs.

Shameless Cold Snack endorsement post vol I

Alex: Foo Fighters – In Your Honor

Steve: Soundgarden- Superunknown

And for the overachievers: Weezer- Pinkerton

Jason is an overachiever

Our boy Jason has been busy lately. Designing a new shirt and sticker design. Ordering said merch. Building more cabs for Sam. Putting together an all day music festival for a bunch of music gear nerds to show off their gear and sweet riffs. Should be some good a time. Here’s the Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1721100541475266/?ti=icl because it’s not official, until it’s Facebook official. It’s just a matter of time before he opens his own music venue. Mark my words. The overachiever is strong in Jason.

Alex’s sad beard.

Rain can really mess stuff up. It’s messing up Steve’s pools. Jason can’t finish building Sam’s 19th guitar cab. Alex’s beard has lost all of it’s volume. It’s just flat and sad. And Louisiana… it’s washing away. Again. It sucks. But you know what doesn’t suck? More of our favorite albums. So hunker down and jam these albums to help pass the rainy days.
Jason: Chemical Brothers- Hanna soundtrack

George: Type O Negative- least worst of

Alex: Bon Jovi – Slippery When Wet

Steve: Converge- Axe to Fall

Sam: Conan – Blood Eagle

And because it’s awesome for rainy days: Dir En Grey- Uroboros
On a serious note though, people are losing everything. Donating to http://www.redcross.org can help people recover from all this. Even a few bucks can help.

Moontooth dance party

If you weren’t at our show with Funeral Horse and Moon Tooth last night, you really missed out. By far two of the most fun and talented bands we have had the pleasure of playing with!! Seriously, it got crazy! A Blast was had by All! MOON TOOTH DANCE PARTY WAS EPIC!

On the rebound.

The past few months life’s been rough. Every one us of has faced some kind of hardship. Rough times at work, family problems, legal issues, injuries, even death. But no matter what life has thrown at us, we have our music. It keeps us sane, and moving forward. So, thank you to everyone that’s supported us. Be it coming out to shows, playing with us, forgiving us for being unable to play, or simply saying you dig what we’re doing. You rock. Everything is getting better, and coming together. There is nowhere to go but up. We can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings.
